Parenting is hard so why do it alone? We are here to support you on your journey. Maybe you feel overwhelmed and like everyday is a struggle? Or maybe you have a spirited child that you love immensely but challenges you? Perhaps you want to parent more mindfully? We are here to support you.

PLEASE NOTE: Referrals for individual therapy are closed presently. Please see your GP to access another psychologist.
We provide Individual Therapy and are accepting requests for support for the following reasons:

Parenting a child under six years old
Perinatal anxiety and depression
Parental burnout (for parents with young children)
Infant and toddler sleep support
Infant cry-fuss behaviours
Caring for a young child with a disability
​
Referrals for presentations other than those listed will be referred on.
​

Appointment times
​
Appointments for therapy occur on Tuesdays (school hours) and Fridays (office hours). We do not offer after hours appointments.

Locations
In-person appointments are available on Tuesdays at our Glenbrook Studio (address provided upon booking).
Telehealth (within Australia) appointments and via home visits (Nepean Blue Mountains area) are also available.

Services we do not provide:
​
We do not currently provide diagnostic assessment services for presentations such as Intellectual Disability, Learning Disabilities (including dyslexia), and Autism.

We do not provide behaviour support for NDIS participants.
​

Funding options and Fees
​
Medicare rebates are available. To receive a Medicare rebate, clients must see their GP to obtain a referral.
​
You do not need a referral if you are paying privately (full fee/no rebate).
​
Growing Gently Psychology is not a registered NDIS provider however we accept clients with self and plan managed NDIS plans.

Please note: NDIS Plan Managed Clients are charged as per the NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
Initial Consultations
Initial consultations are 1.5. hours in duration. This will allow your psychologist adequate time to really get to know you and your current daily life. The session will feel like a conversation and go at the pace you feel comfortable with. Your psychologist will also ask you questions about things such as why you are seeking psychological support, your current thoughts and feeling, your previous health history, current/previous supports and so on.
Online Therapy
$300 for a 1.5 hour session
In-clinic sessions
$310 for a 1.5 hour session
Home visits
$360 for a 1.5 hour session
Subsequent Consultations
Subsequent consultations are 50 minutes in duration.
Online Therapy
$200 for a 50-minute session
In-clinic sessions
$210 for a 50-minute session
